A Velcro loop at the poll allows the neckpiece to be attached to your headcollar or bridle. You can also find Velcro straps at the neck, a single front closure, a surcingle and tail cord to keep your rug in place.

The rug has two stirrup holes at the sides, so it can be used while riding.
